Description
The United Nations Support Office in Haiti (UNSOH) intends to establish one or more long-term contracts for the provision of Camp Support Services. The services shall comprise a set of integrated, routine, and on-demand operational services required to support the day-to-day functioning of UNSOH operational camps. These services are intended to maintain appropriate standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and general operational functionality on an as-and-when-required basis, in support of UNSOH operations within its Area of Operations in Haiti. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, the following four (4) service lots: i. Routine cleaning services; ii. Emergency and reactive cleaning services; iii. Laundry services; iv. Movers and manual support services. For the Port-au-Prince operational area, Camp Support Services shall be awarded and performed as one integrated service package by a single Contractor. Partial bidding or split awards may be permitted for locations outside the Port-au-Prince operational area only where explicitly indicated in the solicitation documents. 1. Contract approach & term: The anticipated contractual arrangement is a long-term agreement with an initial contract period of three (3) years, with the possibility of two (2) additional one-year extensions (3+1+1), subject to mandate, availability of funds and satisfactory performance. 2. Contracts will be non-exclusive and no minimum quantities are guaranteed. 3. The Operational locations (indicative): Services will be performed within the UNSOH Area of Operations, primarily in: • Port-au-Prince and Greater Port-au-Prince, and • Other locations in Haiti where UNSOH maintains a presence 4. This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNSOH reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to an EOI does not automatically guarantee that such a company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. INTERESTED VENDORS SHOULD NOTE THAT THE MINIMUM LEVEL FOR REGISTRATION FOR THIS TENDER IN UNGM (www.ungm.org) IS BASIC LEVEL. COMPANIES WHICH ARE NOT ACTIVELY REGISTERED IN UNGM MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE UPCOMING TENDER. Specific Requirements/Information MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS (illustrative, further detailed at RFP stage): Participating vendors will be required to submit, upon receipt of solicitation documents the following minimum requirements and other documents, which will be elaborated in the solicitation documents: • Documentation depicting the company's portfolio of services and profile, demonstrating that the primary business, over the last five (5) years as a minimum, aligns with the required services • Providision of evidence of renowned quality management system, through evidence of ISO 9001 or any other an equivalent industry-recognized standard certification. • Documentary evidence (e.g., Letters of Reference, Task Orders, or Certificates of Service Completion) confirming successful delivery of services similar in scope and complexity dated within the last ten (10) years Note: Detailed scope and specifications will be provided in the subsequent RFP to firms shortlisted from this EOI.
