United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Lebanon, seeks the interest of qualified vendors and Service Providers to participate in an upcoming tender solicitation for the Provision of Infrastructure and Landscaping Works in Badawi Railway Park, Beirut Lebanon. The project is aimed at maximizing the impact of urban recovery efforts on the affected geographical location, which is of considerable importance for the economic recovery not only of the city, but of the country as a whole. UNON invites companies to express their interest in UNGM; and by filling out and submiting Annex A - Preliminary Assessment Form attached to this REOI to the email; may.mutua@un.org cc unon-rfx-procurement@un.org by 31 March 2026. The EOI submission should state the EOI reference number and title in the subject header. The scope of works shall include but not limited to: • Civil Works – which includes excavation, concrete, pavement, tiling, finishing, metal and waterproofing works, etc. • Water and Plumbing works – which includes supply of underground water supply system including connection from the main public water feeder to communal storage tanks, Installation of underground water distribution pipelines, valves, fittings, and related accessories and Distribution of water to various facilities within the park, supply of irrigation system, supply of underground sewage network including installation of underground sewer pipelines serving park facilities, Connection to existing improved manholes within the area, etc. • Electrical Works – which includes underground electrical network such as connection from the main public electrical feeder, Installation of underground electrical cables and conduits, Distribution of electricity to all services and facilities within the park, Installation of a solar energy system as an alternative power source, Integration with park electrical systems to support energy supply, etc. • Landscaping Works – which includes softscape works such as planting trees, grass and vegetation, Hardscape works including park furniture and playground equipment, food kiosks, portable toilets, etc. Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. The complete detail of the requirement will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. Note: Joint ventures,Consortium and prime–subcontractor arrangements are permitted and encouraged. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not therefore automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation documents. Only vendors who, in the UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the EOI submissions, may receive the final tender solicitation documents. UNON invites companies to express their interest by filling out the vendor response form in UNGM. Specific Requirements/Information Vendors MUST be registered in the United Nations Global Market Place (UNGM). Kindly refer to EOI Instruction on registering as a vendor with UNGM IMPORTANT: Applicants must express their interest for pre-qualification by completing the following two steps: a) Expressing Interest in UNGM; and then, b) Filling and submitting Annex A - Preliminary Assessment Form attached to this REOI to the email addresses: may.mutua@un.org and cc unon-rfx-procurement@un.org by 31 March 2026. Other Information: The applicant shall note that the United Nations reserves the right to assess and verify all information provided by the applicant for the above criteria. All documents submitted by applicants for this REOI must be written in English. All applications, including the required documents, shall be submitted within the timeline stipulated in this REOI. Applications submitted after the REOI closing date will only be accepted at the discretion of UNON. Each applicant who satisfy the assessment will be deemed to have the technical capacity and professional experience to carry out the works. Applicants who do not satisfy the assessment will be regarded as non-conforming and will not be invited to participate in the ensuing competitive bidding process. Applicants should note that UNON, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to request additional information or documentation if required. No payment will be made by UNON to applicants or any other entity for any costs, expenses, losses, or damages incurred or suffered by the applicant or any other entity arising out of, or in connection with, the preparation of the application..
