New clarification added: 1. QUESTION:Will Thailand withholding tax be deducted when paying successful bidder, and if yes, at what rate?ANSWER:No, UNOPS is tax exempted in Thailand, and we will not deduct any Thai witholding tax when paying the consultants.2. QUESTION:Please can you confirm that:- Liquidated Damages do not apply to this contract.- An advance payment will not be applicable to this contract and as such a bank guarantee for the same is not required.- A performance related bank guarantee is not applicable to this contract.ANSWER:No liquidated damages apply to this contract. No advance payment will be made and, accordingly, no advance payment guarantee is required. No performance guarantee is applicable to this contract.Please note that payments will be made only for deliverables received and accepted by UNOPS. During contract implementation, if the successful bidder anticipates any delay, they shall inform UNOPS in advance and seek prior approval. Where justified, any required adjustment to the delivery timeline may be addressed through a contract amendment.3. QUESTION:Our firm is interested to bid for this opportunity but we would like to ask for an extension of the deadline by 2 weeks to May 1. This is for our team to craft a suitable response to your RFP that is tailor-fit based on our experiences and capabilities. ANSWER:As of now, there is no plan to extend the deadline considering we already open the tender for 1 month.Regards,

New clarification added: Question:We refer to the above-mentioned RFP, and noted that this RFP is published by United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), which is headquartered in Denmark with multiple offices across the globe. We are keen to participate in this RFP, and we would like to enquire, for the purpose of determining tax requirement (VAT or Withholding Tax), may we where is the location of the entity/ office that would the successful bidder will contract with, pl?Answer:The successful bidder would contract with the UNOPS entity established in Thailand.Based on the applicable international agreement in Thailand, UNOPS is tax exempt. Bidders are encouraged to assess their own tax obligations in accordance with their applicable national laws and regulations.Regards,
