New clarification added: Dear All,Please find below the clarifications received from potential bidders, along with UNOPS’ responses.Q.1: As stated in the RFQ, the delivery terms for items intended for Gaza are:DAP + unloading (Incoterms® 2020) – MoLG warehouse in Gaza, oPt. However, based on our previous experience, conducting deliveries directly to the specified location in Gaza for the Ministry of Local Government (MoLG) is unfortunately not practical for us at this time. Shipments sent to Gaza through checkpoints and entry points have, in many cases, been exposed to serious risks such as hijacking or theft during transit then items sold in black market of which is a risk we cannot take. Additionally, transportation costs are significantly higher due to security and war-risk considerations. These factors would substantially increase the overall cost of the requested items, which may affect our ability to participate in the tender under fair and competitive evaluation conditions compared to other tenderers in terms or pricing.Therefore, we would like to kindly ask whether the following delivery terms could be considered acceptable for our participation in this tender:Ex Works (Incoterms® 2020)DAP + unloading (Incoterms® 2020) – applicable only for deliveries to the West BankUNOPS Reply: Due to project needs, there will be no change to the original RFQ delivery requirements.Best regards,UNOPS Jerusalem Office
