2. Objectives and scope of the Assignment The Directorate of Non-Communicable Diseases, Ministry of Health, has undertaken the development of the first National First Aid Guideline. This guideline has been formulated through extensive consultations with technical experts, professional colleges, and experienced first aid trainers to ensure comprehensive and contextually relevant national and international standards. The Ministry of Health has decided to launch the first national initiative, guided by the first national guidelines, to enhance community resilience and reduce injury-related morbidity and mortality through empowering the youth. This timely project aims to create a comprehensive network of trained First Aiders across the country
