New clarification added: Question 1: 1. GI Pipes – Lot 3, Part 3:Should the wall thickness of the fittings be the same as the wall thickness of the pipes, or is a different thickness acceptable for the fittings? Answer 1: For the GI fittings for Lot 3 - Part 3 in form C and under Item 3.2 in the additional technical requirements, Compliance shall be based on the specified tender requirements, including the required fitting type and size, compliance with BS EN 10242 or equivalent, compatibility with the specified Medium Class GI pipes, and equal pressure rating or greater than the pipe pressure rating, and all other stated technical requirements Question 2. HDPE Pipes – Lot 1, Item #3, Point 3.5 (Steel Backing Flange): We would like to inform you that we have offered PP coated backing flanges instead of galvanized mild steel, as they provide better performance and durability. The PP coating is superior to galvanization, offers higher durability, and is also higher in cost. It provides a complete protective layer that effectively prevents the flange from rusting over time. In contrast, galvanized steel may have comparatively lower quality, and its coating layer can deteriorate, leading to faster corrosion. Answer 2: HDPE Pipes – Lot 1, Item 3, Point 3.5 (Steel Backing Flange): The offered backing flanges shall meet the specified technical requirements. 

New clarification added: Question 1: Regarding tender YEHCP AF 03 (LOTs 1, 2, 3), we would like to kindly inquire whether it is possible to participate in only one or two subprojects within a given lot, rather than quoting on the entire lot as a whole.Answer 1: Please refer to the tender paritculars tab in the eSourcing "Bidders shall be allowed to quote prices for one or more lots identified in this tender. However, bidders must offer 100% of the items specified for each lot and to 100% of the quantities specified for each item of a lot. Evaluation will be done per lot"
