Supply and Delivery of Construction Materials to DAP MONUSCO Beni, DRC

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST 1. The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from duly registered companies for the establishment of a contract (Blanket Purchase Order) for the provision of Construction Materials (sand, crushed aggregate, stone, bricks, hollow concrete blocks and timbers) in Beni, DRC. 2. MONUSCO will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly for the establishment of a contract for an initial period of one (01) year, with an option to extend for two additional one-year period, i.e., (1+1+1), at the discretion of MONUSCO and accordingly intends to issue solicitation documents to those companies who would express their interest. The interested companies are requested to complete UN Vendor registration form, preferably for Level 1 in the vendor database accessible at www.ungm.org. 3. The EOI should specify brief relevant information about the company including the company's profile, capacity/capability and experience. Interested vendors must provide the following documents with their response. - Copy of the registration certificate/license (s) of the company. 4. Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of bid/proposals. 5. MONUSCO reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of peformance in the subject field of activities and submission of an EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of the (ITB) documents MONUSCO reserves the right to reject EOI's received after the deadline indicated below. 6. The supply shall be carried-out in accordance with the Statement of Requirement (SOR), Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and the other annexes that will be shared in the tender documents. The vendor shall deliver materials to DAP Beni, DRC on “as and when needed” basis. The vendor shall deliver required construction materials (sand, crushed aggregate, stone, bricks, hollow concrete blocks and timbers within maximum of two (02) weeks after receiving the Purchase Order (PO).
