New clarification added: Question 1: I would like to inquire whether the prices include the cost of flanges, gaskets, and mounting screws required before and after the valve for installation in the pipeline.Answer 1: Prices shall be submitted in accordance with the RFQ requirements and shall cover the full scope of supply as per the technical specificationsQuestion 2:  We are writing to respectfully request a one-month extension for the tender reference RFQ/2026/61623.Due to the ongoing war and its severe impact on the supply chain, the prices of raw materials for the UPVC and HDPE pipes have increased significantly—by 60% and 70%, respectively. These extraordinary and unforeseen price surges have made it challenging to finalize our pricing and submit a competitive proposal within the current timeline.An extension would allow us to better assess the market conditions, secure more stable pricing from our suppliers, and ensure that we submit a well-considered and accurate bid in line with the tender requirements.We greatly appreciate your understanding and consideration of this request. Answer 2: No more extension can be granted

New clarification added: Question 1: We are a supplier of medical and laboratory equipment with over three decades of experience in this industry. Although we may not have completed contracts identical to those specified in this tender, we have extensive experience and strong technical capability. We are currently exploring opportunities in this specific field and therefore may not have completed similar contracts as specified in the tender.With reference to the tender requirements, we understand that joint venture experience is acceptable. We kindly request clarification on the following:Whether a bidder forming a joint venture with an experienced manufacturer is acceptable.Whether the tender requires a joint venture specifically with a local partner in Yemen.Whether a joint venture consisting of the bidder, an experienced manufacturer, and a local partner in Yemen would also be acceptable.Kindly confirm the acceptable structure of the joint venture so that we may proceed accordingly.Answer 1: As per the tender requirement JV is acceptable. Bidders should fill the returnable form Form F- Joint Venture Partner Information Form per the instructions in the form. Bidders are encourage to check JV requirement for each of the tender requirements including eligibility and qualifications criteria stated under esourcing evaluation tab  Question 2: ​We would like to request an extension for the closing date of the referenced tender.​Due to the seasonal pressure during Ramadan and the upcoming Eid break, many of our manufacturing partners are operating at limited capacity, making it difficult to secure finalized quotes within the current timeframe. ​An extension would allow us to complete all technical requirements and provide you with the best possible offer. Sir if all the work from procurement , testing , supply , transportation etc will done by the bidder then is it necessary to have a local partner in the Yemen. If we discussed with local partner he first not ready to do work with UN dont know why. and he asked for more commission for nothing any work/role.Instead that we can give additional to UNOPS. Please consider this terms. In case of installation we definately need local partner but this is only supply the pipes.Answer 3: Bidder should meet the tender requirement including criteria tab

Given our extensive experience, strong professional background, and long-standing reputation in the medical equipment industry, we assure you that we have the capability and commitment to successfully execute this project to the highest standards.In this regard, kindly confirm whether our bid would still be considered acceptable even if we are unable to provide references for similar contracts as required.
