Provision of Technical Assistance for the Inception Phase of The FO4IMPACT Africa Programme

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) a specialized agency of the United Nations based in Rome, Italy, hereby solicits proposals for the Provision of Technical Assistance for the Inception Phase of the FO4IMPACT Africa Programme. The program seeks to position Farmers’ Organizations (FOs) as central actors in inclusive, profitable, resilient and sustainable rural transformation. The objective of this procurement exercise is to identify and contract a qualified service provider to deliver technical assistance services in support of the inception phase of the FO4IMPACT Africa Programme. The total duration of the contract will be 6 months. The assignment aims to: • Ensure effective coordination and alignment among program partners at national, regional and continental levels (including with IFAD Country programs); • Support the operationalization of all program components and sub-components; • Enable sound annual work planning and budget allocation for the first two years of program implementation in line with the strategic KPIs identified by the recipients in line with the Program’s objectives; • Strengthen governance, accountability, monitoring and evaluation, and knowledge management systems; • Facilitate the effective and timely launch of the program in accordance with IFAD and European Union standards. The contractor shall provide comprehensive technical assistance services covering all three components of the FO4IMPACT Africa Programme.
