New clarification added: Dear Bidder Please find below answer to clarifications :Q1 - In Lot 2, 3, 4,7 - Hydrualic Butt Fusion Welding Machines are asked for diameter 15 mm to 110 mm But In practical applications, hydraulic butt fusion machines are typically designed for pipe diameters starting from 63 mm,smallest diameter can be 40mm, while smaller diameters such as 15–50 mm are usually welded using socket fusion welding machines. New clarification added: Dear Bidder Please find below answer to clarifications :Q1 Kindly request your approval to extend the tender submission deadline, as there is insufficient time to properly prepare and submit the proposal in accordance with your requirements. Furthermore, as you are aware, we are currently in the month of Ramadan, which requires additional time to complete all the required documents and preparations. Your kind understanding and consideration will be highly appreciated.Ans 1 - No exetension is granted as of today any future extension will shared as an amendment in e sourcing platform.Q2 - CLARIFICATION REQUEST for HDPE pipe Butt fusion Welding Machine The technical documents specified 15 mm minimum diameter with hydraulic butt fusion is technically unachievable at 15 mm OD pipes lack structural rigidity for hydraulic clamping and facing operations, requiring 20 mm minimum. Additionally, 2.7 kW exceeds safe thermal limits for this range; 1.3 kW is appropriate. Proposed revision: 20–100 mm OD, 1.5- 1.3 kW, hydraulic operation.  Please confirm acceptance of 20 mm minimum or if 15–20 mm requires separate socket fusion procurement.Ans 2 -  An amendment will be shared for this item soon.

Standard butt fusion welding machines are typically manufactured in the following ranges:40 – 160 mm63 – 200 mm90 – 315 mmetc.Therefore, sizes such as 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, and 32 mm are not welded using butt fusion machines. However, based on standard industry practice, butt fusion welding machines typically start from 20 mm or 32 mm, while pipes of 15 mm diameter are usually welded using socket fusion machines rather than butt fusion machines.
