New clarification added: Question 1: We appreciate the opportunity to participate in the Request for Quotation RFQ/2026/61791 for the Provision of Services for the Condition Assessment of Solar Components in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.In order to prepare a responsive and technically sound quotation, we kindly request clarification on the following points: 1. Equipment DetailsCould UNOPS provide the manufacturer details, model numbers, and rated capacities of the solar panels and inverters currently stored at the DSV warehouse? 2. Accessories and Balance of System ComponentsApart from the solar panels and inverters, could UNOPS confirm what other accessories are available (e.g., mounting structures, DC cables, combiner boxes, connectors, monitoring devices)? 3. Testing RequirementsFor the electrical testing of solar panels, does UNOPS expect I-V curve testing to be conducted on all modules, or would statistical sampling be acceptable? 4. Inverter Functional TestingCould UNOPS confirm whether auxiliary power will be available at the warehouse to facilitate inverter bench testing, or whether the contractor should plan to provide a portable power source? 5. Warehouse Access and Handling EquipmentWill material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks be available at the DSV warehouse to facilitate safe inspection and movement of panels?6.
