Description
The consultant will assess Turkmenistan’s regulatory and policy framework governing recruitment, labour intermediation and labour supply in the cotton sector, with the aim of strengthening protections against child and forced labour and supporting the development of fair, transparent and market-based recruitment systems. This includes conducting a desk review of national laws and practices, identifying gaps against relevant ILO standards, analysing comparative legislation and promising practices from countries with similar socio-economic or agricultural contexts, and producing a report with clear, evidence-based recommendations
