Vendors may bid on the entire range of the required MHE or bid on any MHE according to their product range. Detailed technical specifications, estimated quantities, and support requirements will be provided in the RFP. 4. Vendors are encouraged to critically review the following mandatory criteria required at the time of RFP submission and evaluate their ability to meet these requirements before responding to this REOI: - Bid Bond of USD 25,000 - Manufacturer’s certificate (if a manufacturer) - Manufacturer’s authorization (if an authorized dealer or distributor for a manufacturer) - ISO 9001 certification or equivalent internationally recognized standard (whether a manufacturer or authorized dealer). 5. It should be noted that the RFP will specify the UN’s preference for receiving proposals directly from manufacturers, or alternatively, from one company designated by the manufacturer as their authorized distributor/dealer, provided that the manufacturer agrees to co-sign the contract 6. The UN requires the successful vendor(s) to supply brand new MHE, including after-sales support services (e.g. technical support, training, spare parts, tools, warranty, etc.) throughout the entire life cycle of the equipment. The resulting contract(s) will be on a non-exclusive, as-and-when required basis and will be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend at the UN's discretion for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each. After-sales support services shall be provided by the contractor(s) for the entire life-cycle of the MHE, estimated to be fifteen (15) years. 7. This REOI is not for used or refurbished MHE, and neither is it for unauthorized traders, brokers, or grey market dealers. 8. Interested and qualified manufacturers and authorized distributors who wish to participate in the upcoming RFP should express their interest in response to this REOI electronically as instructed under Vendor Response below, by not later than 31 March 2026. 9. If your company is not yet registered with the United Nations Procurement Division, please register through the United Nations Global Market Place at www.ungm.org following the EOI Instructions below. In registering, please make sure that "UN Secretariat" is selected under "Select Agencies." 10. While vendors can participate in the RFP exercise after completion of registration at the Basic Level in UNGM, vendors will be required to register at Level 2 prior to contract award and it is recommended that Level 2 registration is completed as soon as possible. 11. The UN reserves the right to reject Expressions of Interest that are incomplete or received after the stated deadline.
