Request for Expression of Interest (REoI) - REOI for Provision of Managed Internet Connectivity Services for School and Child-Serving facilities in Africa.

This REOI is a mandatory preliminary step to identify the companies that will be invited to participate in the subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP) process covering the same scope. 

UNICEF reserves the right to request any documentation referred to in the questions below, or any other supporting documents necessary to substantiate the responses submitted by companies wishing to participate in the RFP.

Relevant documentation and link to participate in this REOI:

• REOI (attached under "documents" tab) this document contains background and scope information, REOI process and step description, as well as UNICEF contact details in case needed.

• Questionnaire (Microsoft form under "links" tab): your responses to this questionnaire will constitute your submission to this REOI - it includes questions relative to general company information as well as a specific set of pre-qualification questions. THIS FORM MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 27th MARCH 2026 at 23:59 CET TO PARTICIPATE IN THE REOI. Please note that only responses submitted through this online Microsoft Form will be considered.

• Questionnaire (attached under "documents" tab): this is the Microsoft Word version of the online questionnaire. This document is NOT to be submitted; it is provided solely to facilitate internal drafting and review of your responses prior to final submission through the online Microsoft Form.

• Participation confirmation – by 6 MARCH 2026. Please confirm your participation in this REoI by email to Cristina Sanchez Gonzalez (crsanchez@unicef.org), with copy to Nicolas Joel Nin (nnin@unicef.org), no later than 6 March 2026 at 23:59 CET. Please quote “REOI – UNICEF – Provision of Managed Internet Connectivity Services in Schools and Child-Serving Facilities in Africa” as the subject of your correspondence.

• Questions and clarifications – by 23 MARCH 2026. Any questions or requests for clarification regarding this REOI must be submitted by email to Cristina Sanchez Gonzalez (crsanchez@unicef.org), with a copy to Nicolas Joel Nin (nnin@unicef.org), by 23 March 2026 23:59 CET. Please quote “REOI – UNICEF – Provision of Managed Internet Connectivity Services for Schools and Child-Friendly facilities in Africa” as the subject of the email

• Submission of REOI response – by 27 MARCH 2026. Your response must be submitted by 27 March 2026 23:59 CET by completing the MS Form available at the link mentioned above – you can also access it here. Please note that only questionnaire responses submitted through the online Microsoft Form will be considered.

UNICEF does not foresee engaging in dedicated calls or bilateral discussions with vendors at this stage of the process.
