New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Please note the below-raised questions and our official responses in connection with the request for quotation, RFQ/2026/61315.Q1:  Since your total purchase order is around 10,000 pieces is it possible to submit an offer starting only at 3,000 pieces? Production and shipping costs do not make it efficient to produce less than 3,000 pieces as UNOPS will have to pay the same total price for 1,000 or 3,000 so we wish to submit only for orders higher than 3,000 pieces. Ans7: UNOPS has defined its requirement in the shared specifications and solicitation documents. Bidders are requested to submit their offers strictly in accordance with the stated quantities and requirements. Q8: Will those dimensions be okay for you: 38 x 18 x 35 inches?Ans8: The required dimensions are clearly indicated in the technical specifications provided. Please refer to the Statement of Requirements (SoR) for a comprehensive and detailed description of the requirement.Thank you.

New amendment added #1: Dear Bidder,We would like to inform you that the RFQ for the Provision of Printed Training Aids for the UNMAS Somalia program under RFQ Ref: RFQ/2026/61315 has been amended. The changes are highlighted in RED color and deleted text has been struck through for your convenience.The following sections of the RFQ have been revised:1. Section II: Schedule of Requirements (SoR Rev 1) ●      Removed the size  of  item 04 75cm x 62 cm and replaced to a new size  ●      Added  a new size for for Item  Item 04   A1 - 59.4 x 84.1 cm) or similar. 2. Section III: Returnable Bidding Forms ( Rev 1)Updated Form C: Technical Quotation Form to reflect the changes made in Section II Please refer to the revised files labeled as follows: RFQ_Section_II_Schedule of Requirements _RFQ-2026-61315 -Rev 1RFQ_Section_III_Returnable Bidding Forms_RFQ 2026-61315-Rev 1 Please use the revised returnable bidding forms when submitting your bid. New clarification added:  Dear Bidders,Please note the below-raised questions and our official responses in connection with the request for quotation, RFQ/2026/61315.Q1: Can UNOPS confirm if the "Somali Version" artwork is fully translated, typeset, and print-ready (e.g., High-resolution PDF with bleeds)? Or is the contractor expected to perform layout adjustments or translation services?An1: UNOPS confirms that the PDF document requires no adjustments or translation.  Q2: The timeline specifies "2-3 Weeks to deliver the sample books." Does this require a physical hard-copy sample delivered to Mogadishu (AAIA) for approval, or will a digital proof (and perhaps a physical sample sent to a regional office like Nairobi) suffice?Ans2: Item (sample), A physical hard-copy sample is required. The sample can be reviewed either in Nairobi or in Mogadishu. Q3:  Item 04 (Flipcharts) specifies a size of 75cm x 62cm. This is a non-standard custom size (slightly larger than A1/A2 variations). Can UNOPS confirm this exact dimension is mandatory, or is a standard ISO size (e.g., A1 - 59.4 x 84.1 cm) acceptable? Custom cutting adds cost. Standard sizes are cheaper and faster.Ans3: A1 size is acceptable, and an amendment was  issued to reflect this in the Requirements.  . Please refer to Amendment No. 1 of Sections II and III for the updated specifications.Q4: As the delivery is CPT Mogadishu (AAIA), we understand the contractor pays freight. Can UNOPS confirm they (as the Consignee) will handle the tax exemption documentation and customs clearance process upon arrival at AAIA? We bid net of taxes. If the consignee doesn't clear customs quickly, storage fees at AAIA can accrue rapidly.Ans4: UNOPS will process the customs clearance documentation prior to the arrival of the items. The goods will be tax-exempt, and UNOPS will handle the customs clearance process accordingly. Q5: The RFQ states "30 days after receipt of goods." Will UNOPS accept partial payments if the delivery is split, or is it 100% upon full delivery of all 4 items?Ans5: UNOPS prefers to make 100% full payment after complete delivery. Q6:  For Item 3 (SNA Planners Book, 602 pages), the requirement states "Soft Binding." Given the spine thickness of a 602-page book (approx. 30-35mm), standard perfect binding (glue only) may crack. Does UNOPS require Section Sewing (Smyth Sewn) reinforced binding to ensure durability, or is standard PUR glue binding sufficient?Ans6: Standard PUR glue binding is sufficient for UNOPS.This shall form part of the official solicitation documents.
