SUPPORT COMPREHENSIVE CAPACITY ASSESSMENT AND PREPARATION OF INVESTMENT PLANS FOR 5 TVET CENTRES IN SOUTH SUDAN
As part of STVET-VCD, UNESCO will conduct a comprehensive capacity assessment of five TVET centres, including 1) Multi-Purpose Training Centre (MTC), 2) Juba Technical Secondary School, 3) Rumbek Vocational Training Centre, 4) Bor Training Centre and 5) Malakal Vocational Training Centre and develop costed, prioritised, investment plans to guide AfDB-supported interventions for scalability of TVET in the country. The assessment will inform strategic, evidence-based investments in infrastructure, equipment, training delivery, and institutional strengthening, while promoting inclusiveness, efficiency, and relevance to current and future labour market needs. The investment plan will be helpful in identifying opportunities to mobilise additional resources for the development of TVET in South Sudan. UNESCO is therefore seeking the technical service of a consulting firm to support the comprehensive capacity assessment and preparation of the investment plans for the TVET Centres.
