REDEFINING YOUTH SPACES AND NETWORKS FOR PEACE AND SECURITY IN SOUTH SUDAN” PROJECT(Jonglei State (Bor), Greater Pibor Administrative Area (Pibor), Western Equatoria State (Yambio)
UNESCO-South Sudan seeks to engage in partnership with local civil society organisations to implement aspects of the project on behalf of UNESCO South Sudan Country Office and deliver the following outputs over 30 months.
Output 1.1: At-risk youth in conflict-prone areas have increased economic and psycho-social resilience.
Output 1.2: Young people have increased influence on South Sudan’s national and subnational Peace Processes.
The tender contains sustainability considerations addressing gender equality and women's empowerment.
Examples:
Gender mainstreaming, targeted employment of women, promotion of women-owned businesses.
The tender contains sustainability considerations related to human rights, fundamental principles and rights at work, occupational health and safety, fairly traded goods, targeted employment of people with disabilities, etc.
The tender contains sustainability considerations regarding local MSMEs, local communities or disadvantaged groups.
