SUPPORTING WOMEN’S PEACEBUILDING EFFORTS IN WESTERN EQUATORIA (WES) AND WESTERN BAHR EL GHAZAL STATES (WBG)” PROJECT

Request for Clarity: We are pleased with the call for partnership posted on 11 February. However, we would need some clarification in regard to the following: Project Location 1: Derin Salaam: Redefining Youth Spaces and Networks for Peace and Security in South Sudan. The project is being implemented in two states and one administrative area, namely: Jonglei State, Western Equatoria State, and Greater Pibor Administrative Area. Project Location 2: The project's primary objective is to support women led peacebuilding initiatives in Western Equatoria and Western Bahr el Ghazal States by addressing the gendered drivers of conflict that continue to undermine stability in both locations. I would appreciate your clarification on the above two different locations: Western Equatoria State and Western Bahr el Ghazal States Jonglei State, Western Equatoria State, and Greater Pibor Administrative Area Response: Derin Salaam: Redefining Youth Spaces and Networks for Peace and Security in South Sudan (Jonglei State, Western Equatoria State, and Greater Pibor Administrative Area). Supporting Womens Peacebuilding Efforts in Western Equatoria and Western Bahr el Ghazal States (Western Equatoria State and Western Bahr el Ghazal State).

Request for Clarity :We would appreciate clarification on the eligibility criteria. Specifically, could you kindly confirm whether our organisation would be eligible to apply as an international NGO that has been legally registered and operational in South Sudan since 2006? Response : If the NGO was registered by RRC as “national” organization, then they are legible. Otherwise, regional/international NGOs are not legible to apply for this call.
