Provision of Air Transportation Services for the Movement of Cargo in Support of United Nations Operations Worldwide

The United Nations (UN) Secretariat has a continuous requirement for the transportation of cargo by air for the movement of UN Owned Equipment and Contingent Owned Equipment of Troop Contributing Countries and/or Police Contributing Countries in support of UN operations worldwide. This standing Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) is issued with the aim of expanding the UN Procurement Division’s roster of air cargo vendors. Air operators (Air Operator Certificate holders), brokers and freight forwarders that are interested in providing short term air cargo transportation services to the UN are invited to respond to this EOI for inclusion on the UN Procurement Division’s roster of air cargo service providers for participation in solicitations for air cargo charter. Air Cargo is defined as: Full charter of cargo aircraft for the movement of UN Owned Equipment and/or Contingent Owned Equipment. Specific Requirements/Information Vendors interested in participating in short term air cargo solicitations must be registered in the United Nations Global Marketplace with the UN Secretariat at the Basic Level with the selection of UNSPSC Codes: 78101500 (Air Cargo Transport) and/or 78141501 (Freight Forwarder Services). Interested vendors are required to apply for registration at Level 2.
