RFP 9201421 for the PHC Revitalization – Batch 2
UNICEF Nigeria seeks qualified and experienced national construction companies for the revitalisation of 86 Primary Health Care Centers (PHCs) in Nigeria, in support of the Nigerian Health Sector Renewal Investment Programme (NHSRIP) and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The scope includes comprehensive renovation, expansion, and construction of PHC facilities to upgrade them to Level 2 standards. Works involve structural rehabilitation, roofing, flooring, internal and external finishing, plumbing, electrical and mechanical installations, provision of water supply (including boreholes), installation of solar energy systems, and improvements to laboratory and inpatient services. All works must comply with UNICEF’s quality, safety, eco-efficiency, accessibility, and climate neutrality standards.
The total implementation period is 5 months for construction, followed by a 6‑month defect liability period. The procurement will be executed through multiple contracts awarded to vendors based on technical capacity, financial competitiveness, geographic reach, and operational readiness.
Eligible bidders must be legally registered Nigerian construction companies with demonstrated technical experience, adequate financial capacity, and compliance with all mandatory administrative and statutory requirements.
