Supply, Delivery, and Installation of Steel Elevated Water Tank at Well Sites, in Five Localities of Gezira State, Sudan

The United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter referred to as UNON), on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Sudan Programme, is inviting interested vendors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the anticipated solicitation exercise to establish a contract for the Supply, delivery, and installation of steel elevated water tank at well sites, in five localities of Gezira State, Sudan, with the intention of establishing a contract. Scope of Work The project involves the supply, delivery, and installation of ten (10) elevated steel water tanks, each with a capacity of 27 m³, to store water pumped from existing or newly drilled boreholes. The works include: i) Elevated Steel Water Tanks: Fabrication, assembly, and installation of 27 m³ carbon steel tanks (S355JR, 6 mm thick) mounted on 6-meter-high steel towers, internally coated with epoxy and externally with UV-resistant polyurethane. ii) Steel Towers and Foundations: Geotechnical investigation, verification or redesign of foundations, and construction of reinforced concrete bases, columns, and beams with waterproofing and anti-rust treatment for all steel works. iii) Piping and Distribution Network: Supply and installation of galvanized steel pipes, fittings, and valves from boreholes to tanks and from tanks to water distribution points (approx. 30 m), including trenching and backfilling. iv) Water Distribution Points: Construction of distribution outlets with all necessary fittings and flexible connections to the main line. v) Signage Works: Fabrication and installation of steel signboards with UN-Habitat logos, complete with anti-rust primer and two final paint coats. The project will be implemented in the following targeted locations: Abu Haraz Sharq, Al-Jadid, Al-Azaza, Umm Shujaira, Wad Shanina, Al-Rub‘ Al-Madina, Umm Turaba, Hayy Al-‘Umda, Janoub Wad Al-Muhaydi, and Karjaba. Note: Provision of water pumps is outside the scope of this requirement. The complete detail of the requirement will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. Specific Requirements/Information Other Information: Applications submitted after the REOI closing date will only be accepted at the discretion of UNON. Applicants should note that UNON, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to request for additional information or documentation should this be required. No payment will be made by UNON to applicants or any other entity for any costs, expenses, losses or damages incurred or suffered by the applicant or any other entity arising out of or in connection with the preparation of the application
