Data Rescue Training in Africa
ClimSA aims to support the climate information services value chain with technical assistance, financial assistance, and infrastructure and capacity building support to improve wide access and use of climate information and applications for decision making processes at all levels, in the six regions of the OACPS through eight Regional Climate Centres (RCCs).
WMO is supporting focus countries in each ClimSA region, to Ensure RCCs have operational access to existing climate information produces at national level through NMHSs, including data rescue (recovery and digitalization).
Scope of Work
The Contractor shall provide 5 days of early stage in-person data rescue support to meteorological services in Burkina Faso (French), Cameroon (French), Kenya, Mauritius, Madagascar (French), Comoros (French), and provide support to embed and enhance outcomes.
