RFQ-2025-14 Midterm review of the Implementation of the SADC Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)Strategy 2019-2030.
The purpose of this RFQ is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable contractor to carry out an independent mid-term review of SADC Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Strategy 2019-2030 to determine the progress made in the implementation of the strategy and to assess its relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, coherence, progress towards impact, and sustainability.
SPECIFIC TASKS
The Consultant will be expected to carry out the following tasks:
a. Prepare an inception report, covering the background understanding of the assignment, methodology for carrying out the work including schedule of work and literature review
b. Review and finalize inception report and data collection tools based on inputs from inception brief meeting
c. Review and finalize the SADC SRHR M&E Plan 2019-2030 including Indicator Reference Sheet (IRS)
d. Conduct data collection and analysis- present preliminary findings.
e. Develop the midterm review report that includes proposed recommendations
f. Prepare a final mid-term review report and participate in the validation meeting.
Expected travel: The consultant will be expected to travel to Gaborone, Botswana and Johannesburg South Africa for the workshop to Finalise the SADC SRHR Strategy M&E Plan and Indicator Reference Sheet between 23 June and 9 July 2025, as well as to the Review Report Validation Workshop at the end of September 2025.
The Consultancy will be expected to take no more than 100 consultancy days spread over a period not exceeding 4 months between July and October 2025.
