New clarification added: Q1:Thank you for granting the request for proposal submission deadline extension.We would need min. 3 to 4 weeks to put a proper proposal together with our partners. In this regard, we would like to ask an extension, in which we are ableto prepare our proposal with timeline of 3-4 weeks,A1: The deadline for submission of offers will be extended until 06 May 2025. Further extension are not possible.

New clarification added: We are interested in the tender (whose reference is : ITB/2025/56490 named "Removal of Mercury waste from Kasserine, Tunisia").We are currently gathering information.However, in view of the complexity of this project and the time needed to grasp the situation in order to make an appropriate offer, we would like to ask for an extension of the deadline?If possible we would like 2 more weeks: from the April 1st to April 15th 2025.A: The deadline is extended to 15 April 2025

New clarification added: Q1: We review the amount of the mercury waste and any mercury contaminated to be handled at approx. 113 tons. The amount of the waste is high and it will be demanding for a handling. To ensure to deliver the work accordingly, kindly confirm the amount of mercury waste to be handled.A1: Total waste is estimated 387 tons mercury-containing wastes, out of which 340 kg is liquid Mercury.Q2: Kindly clarify that mercury contaminated soil is part of the waste to be handled during the current assignment.A2: Hg soiled rubble stored in 180 big bags UN approved big bags of 1 m3 each. Total quantity is estimated at 270 tonsQ3: In line with the exchange through the pre-bid meeting, it will be great to get pictures of the mercury waste which are currently stored in the interim storage. These pictures will be give us more idea on the mercury waste and any mercury contaminated to be handled in the current assignment.A3: Pictures will be publishedQ4: We have identified that the work will be demanding and this will require a strong network of partnership. In general, we find the work is doable. Due to our interest to support UNOPS, we would like to request for a submission dealdine extension by one month.
