New clarification added: Please can you clarify on the following points, to allow us to offer the most appropriate solution for your enquiry:When you ask for Non Magnetic - do you simply mean a material that is not attracted to a magnet, or do you need a product that does no exhibit any magnetic properties. For example, a stainless steel will not be attracted to a magnet, but will have a small quantity of ferromagnetic material within, such as iron and nickel, which will give off a magnetic signature. From the list, I would determine that only the item 1.18 is excluded from the non magnetic requirement, however it is likely that some of the other items will have a small percentage of magnetic elements - for example a pin, aball bearing, a zip buckle. Would this be acceptable? Will a shipment being sent by courier be able to comply with the shipping terms? Can you confirm if the shipment will be classed as ‘usual aid’ or as ‘material technical help’?/ Dear Bidder,Please find below the clarifications on your questions:1. When we say non magnetic we mean nonferrous material that can not produce deflection in a magnetic field. However please do note that not all the items in the kit require to be non-magnetic, please reference materials specified for each item.2. Please refer to the items' material specifications and follow them. Where material was not specified those items do not fall under nonmagnetic designation. As an example hooks are specified to be from non ferrous material and carabiner specified to be made from aluminum, those items do require to be non magnetic.3. The shipment by the carrier may comply to the shipping terms as long as it complies the Package and standards requirements.4. The shipment will be done under the International Technical Assistance.Thank you.

New clarification added: Will you have access to a customs broker? The best option may be to send the shipment via DHL or Fedex courier, and while the certificate document can be pre-alerted with the carrier, it would need to be provided locally as part of the import instructionsTypically, the receiver will have their own import broker who will clear the goods. Even though they may be tax/duty exempt someone still has to import and clear the goods. It will be down to the receiver as part of the clearance to demonstrate that they, or the goods are VAT & Duty exempt. The carrier just needs to hand over clearance to the nominated 3rd party broker to deal with./Dear Bidder,Thank you for your interest in the tender. Please find below the clarification on your question:The DAP 2020 Incoterms is applicable under this RFQ. The revised solicitation documents will be uploaded accordingly.Thank you.Procurement team.

New clarification added: Thank you for the invitation to bid. I have some questions or clarification requests:Can you clarify what you mean by "Non Magnetic"? Must the equipment meet a particular standard? Are you able to estimate the required quantities expected to be ordered on the BPA?You request DAP (customs cleared), however the Incoterm DAP does not include customs clearance, that would be handled by the consignee. You request DAP terms, but the cost for these will vary substantially depending on the quantities shipped. It would be much more cost effective to be able to quote a shipping cost with each order. You request delivery within 30 days, yet without the quantities required it is impossible to guarantee this./Dear Bidder,Thank you for your interest in the tender. Please find below the clarifications on your questions:1. Due to the current threat Hook and Line kits required to be used in Ukraine by first respondents require some tools to be specifically to be non magnetic, therefore where required (for individual components) we have specified materials from which they are to be made from. Due to this reason, the name of this kit was titled "Non magnetic"2. The first order is estimated at about 50 Kits.3.The procurement of the KITS is performed in the framework of International Technical Assistance. Therefore, there are no extra duties, taxes etc. The registration card of the International Technical Assistance project and relevant Procurement Plan will be provided to the awarded company upon request. Thus, DAP + customs clearance under the ITA + offloading is selected for this RFQ.4. The volume of the orders and the exact locations are unknown at the moment of the establishment of BPA . Please refer to the clause “ Delivery place and Incoterms rules” DAP (customs cleared) Incoterms 2020 (delivered at place and unloaded) customs cleared Ukraine, including but not limited to Kyiv, Chernihiv, Odesa, Sumy, Lviv (any regional oblast center of Ukraine, excluding occupied territories) net of any direct taxes, customs duties, or indirect taxes.5. The first estimated order is about 50 Kits with the delivery within 30 days in accordance with the requirements.Thank you.Procurement team.
