Emergency Procurement: Supply of pre-insulated pipes and bends to Ukraine

New amendment added #1: Dear BiddersPlease be advised that the below amendment is made to the RFQ requirements.Names of the items 1.2 and 1.5 of the lot 1 are now amended to be read as follows:“Item 1.2. Steel pipe with polyurethane foam thermal insulation, protective polyethylene outer casing, with alarm system ST/PE DN65×4.0/140, L = 12,000 mm”.“Item 1.5. Bend with polyurethane foam thermal insulation, protective polyethylene outer casing, with alarm system ST/PE DN65×4.0/140, 90°”.The names of the above items are also corrected in the Form C:Price Schedule Form of the Section III Returnable Bidding Forms.Please check the amended document RFQ_Section_II_Schedule of requirements_Pre-insulated pipes and bends_RFQ_2024_55942_rev1 in the Documents section. New clarification added: Please clarify the size of DN70 from Lot 1 for the following items: Item 1.2. Steel pipe with polyurethane foam thermal insulation, protective polyethylene outer casing, with alarm system ST/PE DN70×4.0/140, L = 12,000 mm and Item 1.5. Bend with polyurethane foam thermal insulation, protective polyethylene outer casing, with alarm system ST/PE DN70×4.0/140, 90°. The European standards EN 253, EN 448 and the Ukrainian standards DSTU B V.2.5-31:2007 or DSTU EN 253:2016 provide for the size of the steel pipe DN65, and there is no DN70 size in these standards at all. Ukrainian-made pipes with a nominal diameter (DN) of 65 have an outer diameter of 76. Do we understand correctly that items 1.2 and 1.5 refer to the dimensions DN65×4.0/140? Dear BidderThank you for your request. Your understanding is correct. The requirements will be amended to replace DN70 with relevant DN65 for items 1.2 and 1.5 for lot 1. Thank you.

New clarification added: Article 2.4.1 of the "RFQ_Section II Schedule of requirements, Re insulated pipes and bends_RFQ_2025_55942. docx" file shows a drawing, but it is not very clear. Due to DSTU B V.2.5-31:2007 not being an internationally recognized standard, please provide accurate drawings or this specification.Dear BidderThank you for your request.The drawing provided is pretty clear (the format of the document provided allows to increase the picture). Also the exact dimensions of the bends are provided (in the name of each of the items).According to Ukrainian legislation the equipment must comply with the provided national standard or equivalent international standards which are also provided in the Section II Schedule of Requirements. For the applicable international standards for bends - please refer to the clauses 2.3.1, 2.3.3, 2.3.5 of the Section II Schedule of Requirements.Thank you.
