New clarification added: Good day. In the working Design, Architectural and Construction Solutions S052-1-AB, the manufacturer of quick-assembly modular reinforced concrete elements is clearly indicated. The same manufacturer is participating in tender No.: RFQ/2025/55985.It becomes obvious that the manufacturer, being a tender participant, is in a much better position in relation to other participants. Due to the impossibility of purchasing similar designs from another manufacturer, we are not competitive in our financial offer. This calls into question the participation of other participants in the tender on equal rights._____________ Dear Bidder, Referring to your concern regarding the mention of a specific manufacturer in the working design, UNOPS confirms that the tender does not impose any restrictions on the source/manufacturer of reinforced concrete structures. The referenced manufacturer was included in the design that was undertaken by a third party UNOPS partner, as a basis to ensure compliance with the safety, security, and engineering requirements of the end-user and the project team. However, bidders may propose equivalent alternatives from other manufacturers, provided they meet the required dimensions and technical specifications outlined in the design and tender documentation. The mention of a particular manufacturer does not constitute an exclusive requirement nor provide any competitive advantage to any bidder.We strongly encourage your participation in this competitive bidding process and assure you that all bids will be evaluated fairly based on compliance with the stated technical criteria.
