New clarification added: Bidder Query 1: Regarding payment terms - The delivery place and Incoterms mentioned are CPT Bangkok Airport (Incoterms 2020) with cargo Insurance and custom clearance to be arranged by UNOPS, whereas the payment terms presented in Section IV-2 UNOPS Special Conditions of Contract mention that Payment will be within 30 days after the arrival of Goods at Bangkok Airport, Thailand and the presentation of signed invoice and final AWB by the supplier. Considering the provisions of the CPT Incoterms, please clarify and confirm whether payment will not be pegged on the delivery date and therefore payment be made within 30 days after the presentation of signed invoice and final AWB by the supplier.UNOPS Reply 1: As clearly mentioned under the contract document, the payment shall be made within 30 days after the arrival of Goods at Bangkok Airport, Thailand and the presentation of signed invoice and final AWB by the supplier.Bidder Query 2: Regarding delivery and applicable Incoterms - The delivery place and Incoterms mentioned are CPT Bangkok Airport (Incoterms 2020) with cargo Insurance and custom clearance to be arranged by UNOPS, whereas the requirement is to delivery to freight forwarder in 10 days from the UNOPS dispatch clearance. We presume this means that delivery to CPT Bangkok Airport (Incoterms 2020) is required in 10 days from the UNOPS dispatch clearance. Please clarify and confirm that delivery is not required to freight forwarder and therefore delivery is required to CPT Bangkok Airport Incoterms 2020 in 10 days from the UNOPS dispatch clearance. UNOPS Reply 2: Because the incoterm is CPT Bangkok Airport, the delivery is effected when supplier delivers to carrier or its freight forwarder at airport of origin for further transportation to Bangkok. The requirement "Delivery to freight forwarder in 10 days from the UNOPS dispatch clearance" means that the supplier must deliver the goods to its carrier/freight forwarder for transportation to BKK within 10 days after receiving greenlight from UNOPS.Bidder Query 3: Regarding product registration – We understand that medical devices need to be registered with the Thai Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) in order to be imported into Thailand. Please clarify whether the products are required to be registered in Thailand or advise whether UNOPS or the project has a registration waiver in process.UNOPS Reply 3: No Thai FDA registration is required for the goods procured by UNOPS. Please refer to Section III of bid documents for details of required documents for shipping.
