Contract Type: Implementing Partner with a Palestinian university—particularly those with business incubation programs, or any other incubation entity carrying out non-profit oriented work

Duration of Contract: 6 January 2025 – 30 April 2025

Objective: The primary objective of this intervention is to empower youth by promoting entrepreneurship through the establishment of cooperatives. Key objectives include:

  • Equip the university and its incubation program with ILO training tools, strengthening their capacity to effectively support young entrepreneurs.
  • Supporting universities in promoting viable cooperative models among young graduates through business plan competitions. Equipping youth with entrepreneurial skills and cooperative knowledge using ILO cooperative and enterprise development tools.
  • Providing seed funding for selected innovative cooperatives.
  • Fostering collaboration between students, faculty, private sector entities, and local communities to establish innovative cooperative models.
