Description
The United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) intends to engage the services of a qualified contractor for Performing a seismic assessment for UNTSO's compound new zoning involving evaluating the seismic risks and vulnerabilities of the site and its intended structures to create a design base line for subsequent consultancy engineering firm through Collaboration With The Architectural And Engineering Consultancy. The evaluation shall be done using the following steps: a. Data collection from the visual checking - data collection from the visual checking and inspection for the Historical buildings and the proposed zones including taking measurements and documenting the current condition. b. Testing and Field Investigation works – determine and implement the needed testing works. c. The testing works shall be conducted through accredited testing firm. d. Testing works shall cover all proposed new zones in the compound. e. All testing works shall be non-destructive, unless if there is a real need for a destructive test to be implemented. f. Testing works shall be in accordance with the local laws and regulations, and relevant with needed purpose of the design. g. A brief information and procedures for the needed testing works shall be submitted to UNTSO project manager for the approval before implementation. Interested companies are expected to fill this REOI and submit for UNTSO's copnsiderations no later than 09 May 2024.
