MAINTENANCE SERVICES OF SECURITY SCREENING EQUIPMENT

The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of the Department of Safety and Security, invites suitably qualified firms to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the provision of maintenance services for security screening equipment at UNON. The services provided by the Department of Safety and Security include physical security, personnel identification and authentication, video surveillance, and fire alarm systems. The overall objective is to establish a contract with a qualified vendor to provide maintenance services for the security screening equipment at the UN Gigiri Complex for a period of three (3) years, with the possibility of extending the contract for two (2) additional consecutive periods of one (1) year each (3+1+1). The scope of requirement encompasses the following: - Regular service and maintenance of ten X-ray machines and supply of spare parts. - Regular service and maintenance of twenty four walk-through metal detectors and supply of spare parts. - Regular service and maintenance of four bomb/explosive detectors and supply of spare parts. - Supply of consumables for bomb/explosive detectors.
