PROVISION OF FACILITIES MAINTENANCE/REPAIR AND GROUND MAINTENANCE SERVICES WITHIN UNAMI PREMISES IN KHEITAN, KUWAIT FOR THE PERIOD OF 3 YEARS (1+1+1)

UNAMI has a requirement to obtain services of a capable and qualified Contractor for provision of facilities maintenance/repair and ground maintenance services within UNAMI premises in Kheitan Compound, Kuwait. Based on these requirements, the Contractor shall plan and provide services at indicated locations within secured UNAMI compounds/environment. SUMMARY OF PROPOSED WORK Under the proposed contract, the Contractor is required to provide the following services in UNAMI premises in Kheitan Compound, Kuwait:  Project Management Service (Minor Civil Works – as and when required basis)  Facilities Maintenance and Repairs Service  Provide Light and Heavy Equipment services (on rental basis) and additional manpower – as and when required.  Generator Services (Troubleshooting and repair services – as and when required basis) The Contractor/Vendor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that the above services are delivered in an efficient and timely manner and in line with international standards for service delivery and safety. LOCATION: The locations for the works under this contract is at UNAMI Office, Kheitan Compound, Kuwait. The situation in Kuwait is stabled and implementation of strict compliance and adherence to new normal procedures is currently in place. It is the full responsibility of the Contractor to rapidly assess the situation on the ground, to become familiar with the environment, and to consider the situation carefully when developing the technical proposal. UNAMI will support Contractors as much as possible during this assessment phase as well as throughout the contract. The initial term of the contract shall be for 1 YEAR with an option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods (1+1+1) subject to the extension of UNAMI mandate, satisfactory performance of the Hospital, availability of funds and continued requirement of such services. For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies will be requested to complete a UNGM Registration at level Basic/1 or above.
