Objective of the consultancy:

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify suitable service provider(s) with relevant experience to support Unitaid in its efforts to create an enabling environment for political commitment and increased financial contributions to Unitaid with a focus on key priority countries.

Qualification of Firm and Consultants:

The successful bidder will assemble a small team of experts that can support the works required above. The organization/consultancy firm and proposed team shall have expertise in the following:

1. Contractor/s will have an extensive existing, extended network across target donors and stakeholders in target markets required to rapidly deliver results.

2. Contractor/s is required to have and demonstrate a sound understanding of the global health architecture and the value added by Unitaid within this context.

3. Previous work with WHO, UN or other international organizations comparable to Unitaid and/or major institution preferably in the field of Global Health.

4. Extensive experience in engaging with and having existing and extended network of institutions, high-level public health professionals and entities, key stakeholders and decision-makers, and government officials in target markets.

5. Demonstrated expertise and extensive experience in advocacy, resource mobilization (including concrete results/investments achieved) and public relations.

6. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and the official language/s of target markets are required, with the ability to distil complex subjects in clear and accessible messages.

Bidders are invited to submit a proposal for the above-mentioned Request for Proposal in accordance with the documents attached in the "Tender Document" tab. Proposals must be submitted via UNGM, through the “RFP documents” tab and upload documents in “My Tender Return” no later than 17:00 hours Geneva time on 19 April 2024.
