Description
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) seeks an appropriately qualified supplier to establish a long-term contract to supply and deliver portable LED Light Towers with diesel generators for UNGSC, Brindisi (Italy). The Portable LED Light Tower (~9.00m height) shall comprise of the following components: - One (1) retractable telescopic lighting mast, equipped with adjustable LED floodlights (light heads); - One (1) chassis equipped with sound and weatherproof canopy, enclosing a water-cooled diesel generator and the relative fuel tank and control panel; - One (1) single-axle wheeled trailer for towing, compliant with international standards for road transportation; - Spare parts kits (Tower and Generator). The supply and installation/erection of the items shall respect the following main parameters: - Rapidly deployable modular system - Rapidly erectable installation - Special packaging for transportation and loading/unloading The supplied modular system shall be appropriate for use in harsh environmental conditions and suitable for different climate zones (e.g., desert, tropical areas, mountain sites, etc.) in which there are several variations of the relative natural forces (e.g., temperature, humidity, wind, and other climatic conditions) and easy to assemble/erect for rapid deployment. After-sale Support includes warranty support and spare parts. The resulting contract will be established for an initial period of one (1) year, with the UNGSC's sole option to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (1+1+1). Delivery Terms: Delivery at Place – DAP UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy and Free Carrier – FCA nearest port of exit (Incoterms 2010) Interested and qualified suppliers shall have the necessary facilities and expertise to safely store and manage a minimum number of spare items to ensure that all orders can be provided to the UN promptly upon request. The supplier will ensure that the critical stock is replenished as needed to ensure the availability of the items at all times by providing ‘managed inventory services’ throughout the contract duration.
