Procurement of Installation of Specified works at two Youth Centers

The objective of the project is to improve the livelihood opportunities and strengthen the socio-economic resilience of young migrants, refugees, and Egyptian youth in host communities through improved policy frameworks, employability skills, career prospects, and inclusive youth centers. Jointly implementing the project, the ILO and UNICEF, will be using a three-pronged approach that combines skills development and career guidance services at the individual (micro) level with capacity development of key stakeholders at the institutional (meso) level and policy engagement and awareness-raising on the national (macro) level. All activities are conducted in coordination with social partners, with the tripartite structures in consideration.

Scope of Work

1. Al Nasr Youth Centre

a) To adjust all access to the designated area with an easy access for disabled people through either fixing problem at the walkways or adding ramps with proper slope.

b) Construct a shaded area for different activities for special needs with all needed flooring & accessories.

c) Build & finish meeting room for twenty - thirty seats, one office room, 2 changing room & if possible 1 storage room or area.

d) Build a special need volleyball court.

e) Adjust shot put (رمي الجلة) area beside the volleyball court.

f) Finish & adjust all required nets above existing fence & around the volleyball court.

g) Maintenance for existing toilet.

h) Furnish office room, meeting room & one ping bong table.

a) To adjust all access to the designated area with an easy access for disabled people through either fixing problem at the walkways or adding ramps with proper slope.

b) Construct a shaded area for different activities for special needs with all needed flooring & accessories.

c) Build & finish one office room & handicapped toilet.

d) Furnish office room & one ping bong table.

The site visit be on 19 October 2023, ILO will provide transportation available at 13 Brazil St, Zamalek moving at 08:00 AM and timings of visit will be as below 

1. Al Nasr Youth Centre: 11AM – 1PM

2. Borg Al Arab Youth Centre: 2PM – 4PM
