Dear Sir,Kindly be informed that None of the bids were substantially compliant to. the requirement of this ITB and hence the evaluation team could not make an award recommendation.Therefore, we have decided to review the specs to make them more generic to encourage effective competition and also split the requirements into three lots based on their similarities.Lot-1 X-ray Machines are non-plug-and-play and require a works contract and to be transported by Sea using CIF Incoterm 2020.Lot 2 will cover the plug-and-play dental X-ray unit and accessories andLot 3 will be for the plug-and-play Color Droppler Ultrasound which is a different technology compared to items in Lot 1 and 2. This is because many Ultrasound brand manufacturers do not manufacture X-ray equipmentThis tender is expected to be relaunched by the beginning of this next week and all bidders who initially submitted a bid will be notified when the tender is relaunched.Thanks and my regards, . New clarification added: Dear Sir/Madam, The Manufacturer’s Authorization Form makes reference to "Clause 4.5 of the General Conditions of Contract for the Provision of Goods". However, the documents included for this tender ITB Section IV refers to Construction Contract for Small Works. Please can you share the General Conditions of Contract for the Provision of Goods document, or confirm if we can expunge this reference from the MAF. Thank you. Response: This is a works contract, so we are using the Construction contract for Small Services.

New clarification added: Dear Sir,Please for manufacturer’s representative companies in Nigeria that has some of this equipment in stock (with Custom clearance done and duty already paid)in Nigeria.How do we quote?Since the incoterm is only CIF and CPT.Response: All bids shall be submitted net of any direct taxes (customs duties and indirect taxes, such as sales taxes, VAT, taxes on commodities such as fuel). If you already have the equipment in the country, You can quote DAP (Delivery at Place) which will be in the best interest of UNOPS.My regards,

New clarification added: Dear Sirs, Are you open to recieving partial bids, for example on this tender we can supply the dental xray machine and imagery but looking into whether we can supply the medical side. If we can only supply the dental part are you still open to hearing from such bidders?Response: As per the tender requirement, no partial bids are accepted. one is required to an offer for all of the items mentioned in this tender as an award will be given to one supplier who will be substantially compliant with the requirement of the ITB and the lowest financially.my regards,

New clarification added: We would like to request a clarification for the item 2A.It is requested to present the display with:Data acquisition: 20 bits/pixel (or better)Output to processor: 16 bits/pixel (or better)This requiremnets are for the very high-end equipment and are very expensive. Can you please clarify if it will be accepted 10 bits/pixel, since it is absolutely enough in practice even for the mammography, and can save the budget.Response: Data acquisition: 20 bits/pixel (or better) is the requirement here. Please try to match this requirement as much as possible.My regards,

New clarification added: 1) For the Item 2B is requested to present a printer which supports the formats:· 14 x 17 in. (35 x 43 cm)· 11 x 14 in. (28 x 35 cm)· 10 x 12 in. (25 x 30 cm) 8 x 10 in. (20 x 25 cm)And in addition is requested to deliver 200 pcs of dry films 35x35cm which are of different then requested dimensions. Please clarify if it is a mistake? If not please confirm if it will be permited to deliver 35x45 cm films instead.Response: Typing error. Please consider 200 films of dry films 28x35 cm (11x14in) instead.My regards,

New clarification added: Item 3A: There are discrepacies in the specifications: the item is supposed to be used for processing “Panoramic, Cephalometric, TMJ, Occlusal films”, however: ITEM 3B is : Only INTRAORAL (not panoramic, cephalo…) Asked to be quoted with DIGITAL SENSORS.. so normally not needed to use any XRAY film processor. Also, due to the digitalization of dental radiography… such kinds of Xray film processors are less and less used and produced !!Response: ITEM 3A and ITEM 3B: The technical requirements are correct and describe clearly which items are expected.ITEM 3B : it’s not very clear which version they need (mobile or wall mounted) > “STAND ALONE” word may further suggest a unit on castors. Please elaborate.Response: ITEM3 B technical requirements indicate a ‘’stand alone’' system which means that it is not wall mounted. Could you please inform if this is considered similar as the requested items are also medical equipment? Or does it have to be exactly the same items as requested in Section II: Schedule of Requirements?2.1. Bidder should be in continuous business of manufacturing / supplying products similar to those specified in Section II: Schedule of Requirements during at least the last three years prior to bid opening (complete Form F, Performance Statement and submit company Legal Documents)Response: If one has previously supplied medical equipment, that will be considered as supplying products similar to those specified in section II: Schedule of Requirements.Bidder does not necessarily have to be a supplier of Radiology Equipment.
