Provision of Explosive Ordnance Risk Education and Risk Awareness for At-risk Communities in the West Bank
Targeted impact of the grant/funding
The project aims to educate at-risk individuals about safe behaviour around explosive hazards while mainstreaming gender in order to save lives.
The impact of the project is for civilians and humanitarian partners to mitigate the threat of explosive ordnance and works to empower the Palestinian Mine Action Centre to assume responsibility for mine action.
The Grant directly contributes to the following UNMAS Palestine Strategic outcome:

Outcome 1: PMAC coordinates all EORE activities in the West Bank

Outcome 2: At-risk persons adopt safe behaviour to mitigate explosive risk

Outcome 1 indicator: Increased number of EORE personnel in the West Bank delivering the PMAC EORE strategy.

Outcome 2 indicator: Percentage of EORE beneficiaries that demonstrate an increase in knowledge between unsafe and safe practices
The tender contains sustainability considerations promoting health and general well-being of consumers/ recipients of the good or service.
