ESTABLISHMENT OF A SERVICE CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF CAFETERIA CONCESSIONAIRE AND CATERING SERVICES IN THE EMERGENCY TRANSIT CENTER IN GASHORA, BUGESERA DISTRICT RWANDA
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is considering the engagement of a service provider, for the provision of cafeteria concessionaire and catering services, at the Emergency Transit Mechanism (ETM), Centre Gashora. The center accommodates up to 700 persons at any given time comprising women and girls, men, and boys of all ages of diverse nationalities.
To achieve time and cost efficiency while ensuring outstanding quality of service, UNHCR Rwanda is desirous to enter a contract with a Service Provider, who has the capacity to provide cafeteria services within the premises of the ETM, in addition to the catering services as may be required by the persons residing at the center. While UNHCR does not make any guarantees that the entire population at the center will use the planned services, all persons utilizing the services offered by the service provider will be individually accountable for all the meals ordered and consumed during their stay at the center.
The tender contains sustainability considerations addressing gender equality and women's empowerment.
