Description

IOM is currently implementing a project entitled “Nigeria: Managing Migration through Development (MMDP) 2.0 in Edo State,” funded by the Italian Government, through the Directorate General for Italian Citizens Abroad and Migration Policies of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The project aims at supporting the efforts of the Edo State government on the implementation of MMDP 2.0. Among other things, the project will support the development of Develop Standards Operating Procedures for ETHAT Shelter Hosting Migrants in vulnerable situations (including VoTs, GBV survivors etc.)

IOM Seeks to engage a Service Provide for:

  • Building on existing standard Operating procedures for shelters in the Edo state, conduct desk review and data collection tools.
  • In collaboration with IOM, convene Consultation Meetings /interviews, with key stakeholders.
  • Develop draft Standard Operating Procedure for the ETAHT shelter.
  • In collaboration with IOM convene a review and consultative workshop with relevant stakeholders  
  • Convene a validation meeting with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop training slides and materials on the operationalization of the Standard Operating procedures. This will be tailored to fit validated SOPs.
  • Facilitate a 4-day training of trainers for shelter staff.
  • To ensure that the SOPs meet IOMs inhouse standards, IOM will share the draft SOPs with publication for possible review and layout.
