Description

The United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invites qualified companies/individuals to submit proposals to conduct the Evaluation of UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network. The UCCN brings together cities from all continents and regions to work together towards a common mission: placing culture and creativity at the core of their urban development plans to make cities safe, resilient, inclusive, sustainable and future-proof in line with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Against this background, The overall purpose of the evaluation is to systematically reflect and learn about what has worked, what has not worked and why, and to identify areas of improvements for the UCCN.

The time schedule for the evaluation is planned between March-December 2023. It is mandatory that none of the members of the evaluation team have been previously involved in the implementation of the activities under review. The evaluation assignment is estimated to require approximately 60 - 70 professional working days (to be distributed among the evaluation team) including up to 3 missions.
