Provision of drupal maintenance and development services (web development)

On behalf of the United Nations Development Coordination Office (UNDCO), the Procurement Division (PD) invites responses from vendors with demonstrated technical qualifications for the provision of Drupal maintenance and development services. UNDCO requires support of a web development contractor to maintain and enhance the digital products owned by UNDCO, including the 132 United Nations Country Team (UNCT) websites, the United Nations Sustainable Development Group (UNSDG) website (in six languages), the UNDCO website and the UNCT eReports. The qualified web development firm will also adapt the web layouts into UN official languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish) and local languages. The adaptation will be based on the existing templates provided by UNDCO. Main activities will include: • Maintenance of in-scope websites: o UNSDG.un.org; o UNCT websites (1 website per country); o UNDCO website (https://un-dco.org/); o UNCT eReports – annual publication of results for each UNCT. • Onboarding of UNCT websites and or UNCT eReports. • Web/Graphic Design. • Accessibility – bringing websites into compliance with WCAG 2.0 AA standard. • Language Support. • Enhancements of contents and functionality. • Technical enhancements – code maintenance, security, etc. • Enhancements to SEO and analytics. • Documentation and basic training of website admins. This document does not consititute a solicitation. The full technical requirements and details will be provided within a formal solicitation document - Request for Proposals (RFP), to be issued at the later stage soon after the closing date for this EOI. It is anticipated that a contract for the provision of Drupal maintenance and development services will be established for a period of 5 years (1+1+1+1+1).
