Description
The Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary General for Yemen (OSESGY) / the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) has a requirement for One new 4x4 armored ambulance fully equipped with medical equipment, vehicle must be delivered to UNMHA HQ in Yemen (Sana’a or Hudaydah) within 6 months of issuance of Purchase Order, it is mandatory that the bidder has maintenance capability including supply of spare parts through its authorized dealership and service, maintenance, and repair facility in Yemen (Sana’a/Hudaydah). Vehicle must be in white color, diesel run heavy duty engine, 199 HP at 3300RPM, Left Hand Drive, armored and certified to minimum B6 (NATO level), minimum 5 speed manual transmission, four-wheel drive on demand, heavy duty suspension and tires suitable for off road and highway use. Vehicle must be equipped with run flat wheel system including 2 spare wheels, ambulance markings, lights, and signals, GPS system, A/C system included in patient compartment, HF communication radio, vehicle must be supplied with special tools and diagnostic equipment, with spare part manual and spare part pricelist.
UNMHA seeks to purchase a full logistic support package to be held throughout the vehicle life cycle. With this purpose, the scope of services that vendors must provide is: Original fast moving spare parts supply, warranty services, provision of technical documentation, special tools and equipment supply, UNMHA personnel training, technical support and advice, vehicle delivery service, availability of the spare parts in the local market due to the difficulties for importing the needed spare parts from out of Yemen.
