Consolidation and expansion of the electronic NCD reporting system

REQUIREMENTS

WHO requires the successful bidder, to carry out  the assignment to support the Electronic Health Administration (EHA) of the Ministry of Health, Vietnam with the consolidation and expansion of the electronic Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) reporting system utilizing the District Health Information System 2 (DHIS2) platform. The contractor  will assist the EHA department with system configuration to accommodate NCD program requirement, integration of data from health facility information system and develop analysis tool to meet end users and health administrator’s analysis need towards decision making by improving quality and coverage of the NCD information system arrangement

The successful bidder is expected to demonstrate experience and list relevant projects as follows:

Mandatory experience:

• • Have at least 5 years experiencing in the design and maintenance of databases using the DHIS2 software
• • Have at least 5 years’ experience in health information systems, public health and database design.
• • Strong business and digital/technical acumen with demonstratable track record of success of 3 IT support projects of similar scope in the past 5 years.

Desirable experience:

• • Previous experience in resource settings in public health, health information systems, health informatic management and monitoring and evaluation; and
• • Experience working in Vietnam and Asian countries.
• • Be able to provide support, training and capacity building to MOH and WHO in DHIS2 database development and maintenance
• • Previous international experience in digital health or similar role
• • Be (1) a competent communicator; (2) capable of meeting deliverables on time; and (3) adaptable to changing contexts
