The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for provision of technical assistance to develop a Framework and Roadmap for a National Innovation System to foster low-carbon and climate resilient economic development in Zambia United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) on behalf of the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) requires the services of an institution to deliver the technical assistance. The overall objective of this technical assistance is to introduce an effective National Innovation System that fosters low-carbon and climate resilient economic development in Zambia through endogenous innovation. Some of the expected outcome, outputs and activities are; • Development of communication documents • Evaluation of the national innovation environment for climate action • Analysis of the national innovation environment for climate action • Development of a framework and roadmap for the establishment of a National Innovation System • Concept development of an innovation support agency • Identification of funding and cooperation opportunities • Development of an innovation communication and capacity building strategy and plan. • Development of a web-based platform on innovation.
