Description

Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building for Yatta Water Supply and Sanitation Department. To ensure sustainable water service delivery through improved organizational capacity, institutional set up and enhanced operation and management performance. As fully detailed in:

1- LRPS Terms and Conditions.

2- Terms of Refernce (ToR) Annex B LRPS-2022-9174986 and its Sub Annex A, Sub Annex B and Sub Annex C.

The consulting firm main objectives are:to support institutional strengthening of Yatta municipality to be able to provide a sustainable, affordable and equitable WASH services to the targeted population through;

1. Implementation of institutional and organizational reforms

2. Support improvement of financial management and performance

3. Enhance technical performance in water services delivery

4. Capacity building to targeted staffs to strengthen operation and management of water system

Scope of Work:

The Consulting firm shall undertake the following activities as well as any other activity deemed necessary for the completeness and achievement of the stated objectives.

A) Support institutional reform for Yatta water supply and sanitation department.

B) Support the implementation of Yatta water supply and sanitation department organizational reform.

C) Support implementation of a capacity building and training Programme.

D) Support improvement of financial management and performance.

E) Support improvement of technical performance.

f) Prepare and submit monthly progress reports and final reports.

G) Organize and conduct monthly meetings with stakeholders including UNICEF, PWA, Yatta municipality and the Donor and present progress, achievements and challenges.
