Provision of Vehicle Rental Services (Armored & Soft Skin) for UNMHA & OSESGY in Yemen

1. The United Nations Mission to Support Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) and Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen (OSESGY) wishes to enter in agreement with a company for provision of vehicle rental services for official purposes on an "as and when" required basis, for initial period of 1 (one) year with the option for extension for a further 2 (two) periods of up to 1 (one) year each, subject to availability of funds, extension of UNMHA and OSESGY mandate, and more importantly, the satisfactory performance of the Contractor. 2. The required services include provision of cars and drivers. The vehicles will be driven by the UNMHA & OSESGY drivers, and if and when required, they would be driven by contractor’s drivers to the benefit of UNMHA and OSESGY staff and consultants for official purposes, within Sana’a, Hudaydah and Aden governorate and to different areas within Yemen as need be.  3. Vehicle: All vehicles, either armored or non-armored as required by UNMHA and OSESGY shall be from the current year or maximum three years old. However, the mileage should not exceed 50,000km. All vehicles should be as follows: • (Non-armored) Minibus, SUV, Sedan • (Armored B6 and above) SUV • Diesel engine • Automatic/ manual transmission • Standard air-conditioning/heating system • Economic engine size for fuel efficiency
