Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to identify a suitable contractor to:

1) develop a background paper and study on options for global access and benefit sharing of pathogens as this relates to the public health implications of the Nagoya Protocol;

2) work with the Office of the Chief Scientist in WHO on using the results of this study, and other relevant work, to input into different intergovernmental processes underway or being established to address the need for global mechanisms for pathogen-sharing consistent with the Nagoya Protocol. Interested parties are invited to refer to the terms of reference in the RFP for further information.
