Amendment # 2 - IRAQ-LITB-24-2021-9167749 for Supply & Delivery of desks, whiteboards and office furniture to various locations inside Iraq

Notice to bidderrs;

Dear Sir/Madam,

Kindly find below answer of question that were raised by vendors:

1.   Could you share the estimated total funding or award ceiling?

There is no funding ceiling. This is a time base LTA.  One year with a possiblity of extension for an additional 2 years (3 in total) subject to the satisfactory performance of the vendor.

1. Could you share the estimated total quantity of all items including governates?

Unfortunately we do not have that information. Previously most desks were ordered in Duhok and Ninewa

1. Incoterms & Delivery Requested Lead Time & Related Charges Packing that will be for all items?

All items are DPU.

4. Could you share the estimated delivery time?

This is up to the vendor

5.         SL017420, SL001271. For the Student desk and chair assembly.

•           Can we have the dimension of the iron, is it 2mm?  As we have at the market 1.5

-           1.25 mm.

6. Dimensions above the required for the Iron is ok. Below requirements are not acceptable.

•           For the logo, as stated on the wishes to purchase are painted, which kind of painting? can you be more specific about the painted logo with color code?

- UNICEF colors are white and navy blue. No preference on the type of paint as long as the quality is good.

•           The color of the paint and MDF may change as per the request. Can we have the color code?

Usually we accept only white

6.         SL004520 WHITEBOARD, CLASSROOM.

•           Can we have the dimension of the whiteboard?

It is clearly mentioned in the bidding document.  120 by 180 CM

•           Iraqi Market dealing with Chinese products, can we supply this item as Chinese product, or it must be Turkish made ? - It should be Turkish Made

7.         SL006644 CUPBOARD WOODEN

•           Can we have the color code of the Cupboard? - Once contract is used, we can negotiate on color. As long as all items delivered are the same color it should be no issue.

8.         SL005134 METAL CUPBOARD

•           Can we have the color code of the Metal Cupboard? Same as above

9.         SL003038 PLASTIC TABLES, 6-seater – lot 5, approximate 140*80 size.

•           Can we have the high dimension and color of the plastic table? - Standard height in the market, approximately 80 CM

10.       SL001469 EXECUTIVE DESK.

•           Wooden Desk, approximate dimensions (160 X 80 X 80)CM, including three drawers with keys. Iraqi market has the dimensions of (160 X 80 X 75) CM, Turkish made, is that work for the bidding or it must be (160 X 80 X 80) CM ? That is fine.

11.       SL000008, AIR CONDITIONER.

•           Steel cage as a wall or ground mounted ? Steel Cage

Note: Kindly be informed that no samples are required at this stage. Please do not send any samples to our warehouse. We will inform you once they are needed.

Please note that the reason for the amendment is to add an additional item ( office desk) to the tender, and revise annex C financial evaluation
