EOI for Provision of Services for Technical Evaluation of Armoured Vehicles.

World Food Programme (WFP) manages a significant fleet consisting of standard production passenger vehicles and civilian up-armoured vehicles deployed globally to support WFP’s operations.

WFP Fleet Centre in Dubai seeks to establish Long Term Agreement(s) (LTA) through a competitive bidding process, for the provision of services for the technical evaluation of armoured vehicles on as required basis. The evaluations may be required for armoured vehicles that have already been deployed to the field (i.e. periodic fit-for-purpose and mechanical vehicle inspections) and for armoured vehicles waiting for deployment (pre-deployment evaluations). The purpose of the technical inspection is to assess, determine and report on the vehicle’s overall fit-for-purpose condition and to identify material operational and safety issues as well as repair and maintenance needs (if any), to inform decision making. The assessments must be conducted using a proven, comprehensive, and consistent methodology and result in a comprehensive report.
