New clarification added: Dear UNOPS procurement team,We are a trading company specializing in Yamaha motor products. We would like to clarify if delivery period of maximum seven months is acceptable.As the Corona disaster has led to a worldwide increase in demand for outdoor activities in the mountains and seas, all markets are facing back orders for boats and outboard motors. And in addition to the fact that the global container shortage continues to disrupt ocean transportation and is not expected to be resolved for some time, it is now confirmed that we are unlikely to be able to meet the required delivery conditions of maximum 5 months after the contract signature.Reply,The boats have to be delivered in Palau before the Ocean Conference that will be held on 25 Sept 2021. There is also a Yamaha authorized dealer and boat manufacturer in Palau which you can contact of collaboration. Accordingly, the required delivery time of maximum 5 months after the contract signature can not be changed.

New clarification added: Dear Chief Procurement Officer,Could you please kindly provide response to the following clarifications.1. Please clarify the depth requirements of the boat. Answer: Depth overall is 80 cm2. The hull weight is required to be 610kg. Is it acceptable that the offered boat is heavier than the required weight. Answer: Yes but the boat materials should be reinforced fibre glass.3. Since beam and breadth both mean the width of a boat, could you clarify why breadth overall is 200cm while beam overall is 80cm? Is breadth 2.12m, depth of 1.07m acceptable? Answer: Breadth overall remains as 200 cm and Depth overall also remains as 80 cm.4. For requirements no.6 Polyform, please provide more detailed description. Does it mean polyform fender? Answer: Polyform fender number is 8 as was in the ITB.5. For requirements no.7 West marine open yacht cleat, is it acceptable to provide cleats from other equivalent brand? Answer: Yes.6. For requirements no.12 Ladder-hook with handrail, please confirm where is this ladder applied? Answer: That is left with the supplier to recommend the best.7. For requirements no.13 Fortress anchor, is it acceptable to provide anchor from other equivalent brand? Answer: Yes.8. For requirements no.14, it requires the anchor line to be 5/18". However, there is no 5/18" size. Please confirm if it should be 5/8",or is it acceptable as long as the diameter is fitting this boat? Answer: Our specs states diameter as 5/18” and length 300ft. This is a minor item so long diameter fits it is ok.9. For requirements no.19 Stainless steel fitting ¼", please provide more detailed description. Is it about rail fitting? Answer: Correct.10. For requirements no.23 Tempo battery hold down tray, can the battery be stored in a box? If not, please confirm if it is acceptable to provide tray from other equivalent brand? Answer: Of course battery has to be stored in a box. Any other equivalent brand is ok.11. For requirements no.24 Tempo battery strap, is it acceptable to provide strap from other equivalent brand? Answer: Yes acceptable12. For requirements no.29 West marine led dome light, is it acceptable to provide light from other equivalent brand? Answer: Yes acceptable 13. For requirements no.34 & 35 Seat, the total quantity is 1 pc, but there are two boats, should the quantity be 2? Answer: You are correct. It should read 2. We will issue revised Doc volume II and III.

New clarification added: Dear procurement officer,After reviewing the tender documents, we would like to clarify the following questions of section II-Schedule of requirement, 1. Item1-Boat 25 foot (Length Overall) made of reinforced fibre glass measuring following: Breath Overall = 200 cm, Beam Overall = 80 cm, Hull weight = 610 kg, Transom height – 19 inch.Question: As the technical feedback, 25 foot length overall is matching 250cm breadth more or less. Could you accept to widen the breadth? Or could you send some photographs of ship type as our reference?Answer, Boat width was based on marine rangers are currently using for 25 ft length. So width should be kept the same otherwise we will be responding on and on to each vendor’s preference.2. Item 34 Passenger back seat of aluminium frame with fibre glass seat (12-inch x 6ft) with back rest (24-inch x 6 ft)Item 35 Seat Infront of the console (3 ft x 12-inch) – aluminium frame with fibre glassQuestion: Considering the above quantity is one for each item, shall we understand to equip each item to each boat which has different layout?
